I have a MS Access Application (.mdb). I want to make my application secure
from getting copied or used on any other computer than the one it is
installed for. I have also made a MDE for my client but just realized that he
could use it on any other machine or make a copy of it.  ...

I can not delete some old outdated files.  One reason is that the locked file
(.ldb) was not deleted when the file was closed.  Another I believe is
because the ownership for the database is shown as <unknown>.  This ownership
is shown for other features such as tables, forms, .. ...

I have changed the settings within a database allowing it to be an
application.  With this feature the entire database has become read-only,
most of the features that allow you to develop the database and forms have
disappeared.
