I can't get Access open any database anymore. We created a database with a password on it. How can this be removed when the password has been forgotten. Office or windows must store this information somewhere?

I tried using the user level security wizard without sucess ( see earlier thread) but managed to set up the security manually. My problem now is that although access will ask me for a user name and password and will log me in, it doesn't apply the restrictions I selected.

Situation is access on a local pc - not a network. I used in access 2002 the security option using the wizard security option on user level on my access database (covers several objects - including password). It works on my lokal pc perfectly.

I have built an application for a customer that posts charges to customer accounts at various times of the day. The way I've done this is to use the windows task scheduler to open a form using command line trigger in the shortcut.
