first of all, i hope to be able to explain what's on my mind...
I have a db (Access2000) for which I have builded a specific workgroup file

When one user opens the db, other users will get the following message when
opening the same db through a LAN:
You do not have the exclusive access to the database at this time.  If you
proceed to make changes, you may not be able to save them later

I am running Win2k Pro and IIS 5.0.  Simply opening then closing an
Access2000 mdb both removes Win2k accounts I set for it, and its inheritance
of the permissions associated with those accounts (the 'Allow inheritable
permissions from parent to propagate to this object' checkbox ...
