I recently downloaded and installed Office 2000 Service
Release 1a (SR-1a). I have (had) a number of databases
protected with a password and internal security on the DB
objects. Following the upgrade all the DB are no longer

Does Access user level security allow for multiple logins by the same user?
The reason I ask is that I want to set up user accounts for each
organization, and I do NOT want to have the possibility of having more than
one person from each org in the database at a time...

I have the back end tables secured with no permissions for
any ID's except the administrator ID.
On the front end I give permission to the tables but it

I have an access 2000 database containing only tables and
queries.  I secured the database.  I then added a few
macros and forms.  On the forms I have control buttons
that are set to run the various macros I created.

I use AOL as my server, but use yahoo for everything
else.  When I install the firewall, I can not log into
yahoo.  What can I do?  I really want to reinstall my

I had turned on the security for Access 2000 before converting my database
application to Access 2003.  Now the owner shows as <unknown> instead of
administrator.  Which does not allow me to take ownership and make the

I have only ever toyed with user level security once. I have been asked to
make a database where each of about 120 organizations has their own password,
and only one person from that organization can be in the database at a time.

I have several text boxes on my forms that are private.
