Created an .mdw for an Access 2000 database. Created a
shortcut to use the mdw for only this database.  When I
open without the shortcut, I get an error - Good. When I
open with the mdw - I get prompted for username Good.

I have been asked to enhance an Access DB located 400 miles away.
I have been told the MDW doesn't work properly.
A copy of the DB has been sent to me.  I tried to File - Import
the Objects but get an error message.

I have an Access 2000 db that is secured.  I just splitted
it.  The Front end is still secured, but that back end is
not.  If someone were to go to the the backend folder on
the network, they could delete data.  How do I secure the

When I type ctrl-alt-delete my computer it is not
bringing up the option to "lock".  This is a new station
and I don't know if it ever had the option to do this,
but how would I add this option if it is not already on

everything runs smoothly after I have secured my database.  However, a visual
basic application that linked to the database failed to execute when it try
to connect to one of the tables in the database even though that table is
accessible to everyone.  Please help.
