Hello, I posted a similar question earlier and got an excellent reponse but
I've narrow it down a bit.
How do I make my database expire after x amount of days and require a

I am trying to create a MDE file from my database but the
option is not highlighted in the Tools/Database Utilities

Ok.  Pretty new in Access.  What is an mde?  I know a mbd is an access database.  Anyone have a description of the different types of access databases and what their benefits are?

I have created a database on my pc. I have saved it on
the network for other users to access. However when they
try to access it the database is read only.
