Hi excuse my amaturish question her but.... I am the only user of my stand alone PC and Microsoft Access 2002 keeps setting passwards on sections of my databases without any such action by me!!!!!

ive scured my db and it seems to work ok, but the only thing this doent seem to prevent is linking/importing tables is there any way to stop this other than password protecting it? thanks in advance

Im getting a logon message every time I try to use access even to create a new database... Does any one know how to remove this... As I cannot find out what the logon it is not a password to use a database but to use the application..
