I have a report that gets that from a query. well query is "heavy" and I know that. the problem is that the report it takes too much to make the preview, almos t5 minutes and then if I choose to print it, it takes again 5 minutes, it seems that it's running the query again.

I have a transaction # for each record in my main form with a subform "Approvals" and "Checkouts". I created a query to show the sum of all Approvals and all Checkouts by Transaction # for each record. (one for Accruals and one for Checkouts).

Inside of my database I am able to open tables, queries, forms, however when I try to open a report nothing happens. I tried opening it in design view but that does not work either. Any suggestions.
