laptop and the master on a server.

One Design Master:Two Databases?29 Jul 2005 08:25 GMT3
I have a replicated Access 2003 database working fine. The Design Master
also synchronizes the data.
But now I would like a second, separate database, maintaining the same
design; when I modify one the design of a single Master DB, I want the

Does anyone know if it is possible to take away design master status from a

Is it possible to display the last successful sync date/time in a form in

database being synchronized with Replication Manager?
Can you parse the synchronizer log somehow? Or is this info stored in the
Briefcase and .mdb files20 Jul 2005 23:16 GMT3
When I drag and drop a database file (.mdb) into the Windows XP Briefcase, it

off that behavior?
I only want the .mdb file synchronized rather than the data within the .mdb

I am going crazy!  I have a client who has been using my MSAccess

main office, a hub replica, a design master and several remote data

Been using replication over 3 years for a Work Order database.  I use the

David and Cheval,
Sorry not to reply within the original thread but my OE is playing up and

Replication for Access07 Jul 2005 01:22 GMT5
I am trying to determine if it is a good idea to convert an Access 2000
database to Access 2003.  The main reason we use Access is for the
Replication Manager (indirect synchronization).  Is it a good idea to
go to Access 2003?
