Does anyone know if it is possible to take away design master status from a database, without moving or changing the name permanently? I have tried renaming and then renaming back again, and the design master status comes back.

When I drag and drop a database file (.mdb) into the Windows XP Briefcase, it creates a design master and adds new fields to my .mdb file. How can I turn off that behavior? I only want the .mdb file synchronized rather than the data within the .mdb
