My internet sync has stopped working with a 'Failure to write to an internet
handle' message. As far as I know, nothing has changed on the server. We are
using anonymous replicas that have been copied to several computers, but it
seems that only synchronizing over the local intranet ...

I want to set up Internet replication for remote users who will dial-in via a Radius server. The laptop's have Access 2000 and 'anonymous' replicas. The central server has Access 2000, Replication Manager and the Synchroniser loaded. I'm pretty sure I have the server correctly ...

I made the mistake of moving the Design Master (DM) to my
PC hard drive without using the "Move Replica" command.
Then I created a new hub replica on the LAN public folder.
When I synchronize my DM with the Replica on the LAN, I

DBEngine.CompactDatabase FromDb, ToDb, dbLangGeneral
When you have a replicated Db.

Has anyone else experienced this error?
This has happended several times on my server when using
internet synchronization of a complete replica set.
It has nothing to do with leftover rep*.msg or jet*.tmp

I'd be really grateful for some help on this. I'm quite new to
replication.
I've one master and one replica. s_Generation in the Master is 1 for
every record. On synchronising several update/delete conflicts occur.

Can I move the design master from my desktop onto a server
by simply cutting and pasteing? Will this cause future
synchronization problems?

Does the Replication manager have to running on the internet server to do
internet synchronization??

I have 10 machines doing indirect sync through either VPN
and LAN. All are running XP home or Pro. All running
Access 97 with Jet 3.51 (SP3). 8 of the 10 computers seem
to start and end thier indirect sync in less than 1 min
