server on the LAN and clients to link table on the server.

We've been using a split-database setup on a Lan with one of the users'
computer acting as the file-server (the BE is stored on their machine).
We're moving to a new location and I'm wondering if there's any value in
having a separate computer not used by any user and dedicated ...

I'm working for an international company and I've made a database in
microsoft Access, it's a prospectsystem. On the switchboard you can click on
a function where you can look for prospects in the database and you can click
on a link to add a new prospect.

The back end is on a network share. I would like to be able to limit the

I have a BE/FE mde built in Access 2003.  I have a client with only
one version of Access, so I've installed the Access 2007 Runtime on a
few other terminals.  The program works as designed (for the most
part) when I access it directly with Access or the Runtime.  So far so

I have two tables in a database that suddenly appear blank (white
screen) when I attempt to open them.  I am able to export the data to
another table, however, when I rename the old table and paste the new
one in its place, it too opens blank and off goes a report to MS.  Can
