I have a mdb that needs to be used by multiple users. I am aware of
the Tools -> Security option to create multiple users. However, do i
need to create a table in the mdb too that keeps track of the user ids
& passwords? How about changing passwords? Where and how is it done?

I have a little database that keeps tracks of bids at Charity auctions...
sometimes, when the organisation closes a couple of silent auction
tables at a time (we stagger the closings over a period of time) there
gets to be a data entry bottleneck..

I administer a small network with a couple of apps that both work with
shared mdb files on the server.
The server has just been replaced with a new Dell SBS 2003 R2 unit.

Has anyone else noticed Access FE file losing connection to the BE file for
no appearant reason? It seems to be happening fairly common in Access
(maybe once a day) as it's happened to me on numerous occassions, but yet,
other applications don't do that to me including our JDE ...

I have created a monster. I guess it's a fairly stereotypical
situation wherein I inherited a collection of a dozen or so Excel
spreadsheets from a co-worker who got promoted out of the department.
