I'm creating a database that will monitor machine downtime.  There are seven
workstations that require access to the database and be able to update it

When you have a FE BE database.  Does linking the two mean that the
network connection is always open, or does it only open when you are
performing an INSERT, DELETE or UPDATE.  I'm using unbound forms.
