We have an Access application, FE on each user pc and the BE on a networkdrive. At some moment in time the applications crashes. According to the network specialist it is because there are too many file locks. Any idea how to avoid this?

I have several backends on a remote desktop connection. One of them has an ldb file which I can't delete. I've used Computer Management to close all open connections to its mdb file, but I still can't delete the ldb, and can't compact/repair the mdb.
