As the FE is distributed to the end users within the network, is it possible to protect the code of the FE in some way? Basically, I don't want the users to be able to see the code and modify it (if that is possible) Thank you

I'm trying to setup a fe/be database using a system dsn. I can't use mysel or sql for the backend and I don't know what the filepath will be for the be so I need to use system dsn so I can specify the path the same on each of the network computers.

In a multi-user environment, is it possible to place the backend onto a desktop with Windows 2000 Pro? I tried it and when a 2nd user logs into the database their performance is terrible.

I have windows updates set to update automatically. When I came in today there were a ton of new updates installed. Since the update I have not been able to open my BE Database. The FE opens fine, but the BE doesnt open at all. Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm getting an error telling me that "You can't assign a value to this object" whenever I try to assign values to a checkbox. My Code is below. Any ideas? I have the values assigned as true and false in this code, but I have tried with 0 and 1 and have received the same error.

There will be an number of BE files that will need to be merged monthly. Some of the BE files will be on multiuser networks, others will be stand-alone in the field. Also each of the BE files and the OBDC master will have a one record
