In my database, there is a default date field that automatic enter the date
and time when ever there is a changes or new records made to the table.
I created a query from  table and with the below criteria.

How do I enable sharing of a db I just created?
I created all usernames in a workgrp file and put it in a shared network
folder accessible (R/W) by all. However, when one user opens the db, a temp
file is created and it locks the db. Other users cannot open the file at all.

I recently created a database and placed it in a shared drive for other users
to use. I tested opening the db from my computer and it works fine. However,
when the database is opened by another computer, it displays this error msg:

When multiple users are accessing the same table, is it faster for the system
overall to use a querry of a table for editing rather than opening the table
for editing.  Sometimes when a table is opened directly, it seems to slow up
other users access to that table. Thanks

entered each record in the database.  Is there a way to capture the user
name/id without making them enter their name on the data ...
