I'm experimenting with a prototype version of a multiuser system with an Access 2002 front-end and a SQL Server 2000 back-end. I'd
like to be able to use an Access Data Project as the front end, but I also want to use local Access tables on each user's machine
for storing temporary ...

New Query Problem - Multiuser09 Sep 2004 11:27 GMT2
I got something weird in a 2 person multiuser environment (Access 2000). The
Network is setup properly with front and backend, the front end having been
distributed to the users machines along with *.mdw file for password
protection etc. .. all works fine...
Make changed to FE / BE db09 Sep 2004 09:21 GMT2
Probally a silly question but, If you want to add a table or make changes to
an existing table, do you just open the BE and make the changes? Or do you
need to use the FE and link?

Making a smart link that can open the right version of access08 Sep 2004 07:54 GMT5
I have designed a multiuser access 2000 database with a FE
and BE and .mdw file.  The BE and .mdw are on a shared
network folder and the FE resides on each users machine.
I (with great help from this newsgroup!) then designed a
multiple statements08 Sep 2004 04:45 GMT5
I want to run multiple statements and make sure that no one will
change or add new rows between my statements. Since Access does not support
multiple statements in one query I decided that I need isolated
(serializable) transaction. How should I implement this?
FEs on Server?08 Sep 2004 04:20 GMT3
I've read through almost all the threads refering to Front Ends (FE) for
Access and am still unclear about the following:
Is/are there any reason(s) why multiple copies of the FE program could not be
saved to unique folders on a server and have shortcuts on the users PCs
