Can anyone help me with using our Access database at 2 locations?25 Aug 2004 05:17 GMT3
We have 2 locations (non-profit---YMCA's) about 10 miles away from
each other. There are only 2 computers at each location. We thought we
could hook in and make live changes to the database, like scanning in
members, signing them up for classes, etc. I'll call our main database

I have a split FE/BE application. The Front Ends were distributed to
the different users, The Back End/Tables and Data were installed on
the shared network drive.

attempts to open a form?  There are several users, each with his/her own
front-end on the desktop , linked to the back-end on the network drive, and

The database is setup in two MDB files.  The code is in one MDB files with
linked tables to another MDB file.  When the user signs on, he/she selects a
