I have been developing a split (fe/be) database in Acess 2000 that is still
in progress.
I can normally work on the database while inside the office due to correct
drive mapping, etc.

try to tell me that the A97 databases need to be converted to A2000 because
of a possible move to Windows 2003 from NT4. Is there something to it?

I have a 5 year old Database which has 7 teams. All staff is assigned
to one of these 7 teams. I have 7 Supervisor.  Management now wants to
limit each Supervisor to view only their team's Data. There are about
25 Tables and 50 Quieres.

So I went and split my DB like almost everybody I spoke to recommended.
But now I am having PROBLEMS with my code.

adModeShareExclusive + adModeReadWrite does not prevent others from open the
same table while the same statement without adModeReadWrite can prevent ?

I have a multi user db with a front end for each user and
a back end for the tables. A new XP computer has just
started accessing the db and the back end keeps
corrupting, needing to be repaired.
