I have a table with 2 date fields: [Open Date] and [Close time].
Both field have the following format: dd-mm-yyyy hh:nn.
How can I calculate the difference in days between these 2 fields and how
can I display this on a report where I want to have 4 colums like:

I am new to this and I do not know too much about access I only want to use
to program if it can help me sort by contacts correctly! I tried using
address database but it doesnt allow me to have New York as the primary name
and the boroughs in different sub boxes!

I had overlapping data from one DB to another in a linked table.  I received
a suggestion to have all my tables in one DB (backend) and all my forms, etc.
in a separate DB (frontend).  I haven't done this yet, so I don't know, but
won't I have the same problems with overlapping ...

I am trying to learn MS Access 2003 and have trouble getting any help files
to work.  It keeps giving me the message

I am trying to build a pretty complex (to me anyway) database for work.

Using Access 2007 on a XP machine I've linked to a database.
I refreshed the links and everything refreshes successfully.
I try to open the Db and I get a message that Index not found

After making an entry and moving to next line the data disappears from the
previous line.  I have to save and close database. When I reopen the data is
there.
Does anyone know why?  Also, sometimes the data entry is nothing but XXXXX's.

I wanted to create Desktop shortcuts that will open different forms in the
