My manager gave me an Access database on a disc and asked that I add some
tables and create a new quesry, but it is "read only" and will not let me
save changes.  I was thinking that I could just re-save under a different
name but the save as is in grey when I click on the file ...

I use Acc 2003. I pasted an inventory into my fields and they are all upper
case. Is there a way to change these to first letter of each word upper case

Alright, so I redid some tables and created a new form to represent the
tables for data entry.  What's weird is, when I tried to fill in the data,
the form wouldn't let me enter any data.  I recreated the form again to see

I'm so totally "not getting" this -- hope someone can help.
I have 4 tables (tCase, tDates, tMtgs, tNames).   The first 3 tables are
directly related (ID to ID, one-to-one), and have referential integrity.
The tNames table has multiple names that go with the tCase table, so I've

I want to make a query to pull all people with fax numbers.  I can do this
but I have duplicate fax numbers.  Is there a way to only pull one fax number

My company inherited a database that has numerous blank data fields. In order
to make the project work correctly the blank field(s) was populated with the
word "None". This had the desired effect and the project screamed along
nicely.

Did not quite know where to post this...
One of my users is getting a "The Parameter is incorrect" error message upon
opening his database. This is double-clicking on the MDB file. He claims if
he opens Access and chooses the MDB that way, it opens ok.
