In Northwind, orders,  there is a combo box to get customer info then when
selected it fills in the form.  I am trying to use the same process but I
can only get the company name. I don't see how northwind fills out the other

i need to learn from the very basics on how to use microsoft products such as

We check out laptops to students and staff, and I'm trying to find a way that
will do the following:
1) Allow all students to only have 1 laptop checked out to them at a time
2) Allow all facutly and staff to check out multiple machines

How can I print several envelopes with the same address. When I do the repeat
all I get is the top line ( name)

I used the wizard to set up my first data base and used the Industrial Background.  Is there a way to get rid of the background and use another?

I have two tables with basically the same fields: name, account, total
salary..., but one is for faculty and the other for staff.  I am trying to do
a query to do a report, in which I want to view people from the two tables
under a certain account number. Can this be done?

Can I use the Calendar Control to select the day of the week and put it on my
Access form based on the date that a user selects from the calendar? I can
get it to put the actual date in a field on my form, but not the day of the
week. Thank you.

When attempting to run a query, I keep getting the error message Microsoft
