This may seem like a daft question but I would like help in sprucing up the
look of a form.
How do I send an object to the back? eg. If I want to have a box around some
fields, I have to make it transparent or it will block out everything

I use alot of combo boxes to input data on forms.  All my combo boxes record
source are linked to dedicated dropdown  table's.
The tables are all set up with an Autonum Primary Key field and a

I am using Windows 2000, with Access 2000. I would like to know is it
possible to have a drop down box on a form that has for example a selection
of A, B, C, or D then in another drop down box next to it have a list that
corresponds with each particular letter.

Using Access2003, we need to send out a file to each office. They input 5
fields which then generates (calculates) a special code.
Whilst we are not concerned at the number of staff that will have access to

Along time age I had a database that I used to access that used linked
tables and I was able to convert the the unix time value to a date/time
format but since upgrading to Access 2003 I have not been able to do this.

I have been trying to export data from a linked ODBC table into an access
table. The only problem is that my source table has around 280,000 records in
