I have a form based on a table (Call it Table A). Table A has alot of fields

Is ther a way to have a combo box look up a record in a different table and
fill in the client nem on a form? Here is the example.... I want the box to
fill in the client name on a quote form that will be used to fill another
table. It keeps asking me for the company name in the ...

button.  I want to switch from open records to closed records without closing

In the AfterUpdate code I had the detail back colour change if a check box
(tbc) = True. However if I tick the box now it turns the back colour of every
