Hi, does anyone know how to set it so that if you have a number of
windows/forms open, everytime you open a for/window, it willl be displayed at
the front? as its displaying them behind the other forms at the moment

I was wondering if the switchboard manager can be manipulated so that if I
open a form frmEmployee as an editible form and if I open the same form as an
Add Employee form can I enable/disable certain buttons.

I have a form with a subform, the main form generates a unique identifyer for
the record on form open.
If nothing is entered in the subform, I don't want the record on the main
form saved.

I have a form with a subform.  The "Vendor" on the subform defaults to the
"Vendor" on the Main form (Vendor default = Parent!Vendor).  The "Vendor" on
the subform is a combo box.

In table tblPhones I have an unique index consisting of:
ContactID PK autonumber
PhoneType Text (ie Home; Work; Cell; Mobile; Cottage; etc)
to prevent users from recording duplicate phone types.

I have created a form and set up tabs to input different
segments of data. I have reached the point now where I
want to have more tabs than the form will allow, so I
created another form. When I open the new form I want the

I'd like 2 fields to be updated when a check box is checked (or unchecked).
One field with current date and one with checkbox value.
If checkbox was checked but the check is removed the date should also be
removed and the date field should be empty.

Applications such as Outlook allow multiple Contacts to be open at the same
time.  Does Access support this paradigm?  For example, can more than one
Contact, Invoice, etc, be open at the same time using the same form?

I create a form and subform using the form wizard.  I previously set a
one-to-many enforced relationship between the tables.  I open the table, it
displays data properly.  I try to edit or add a record in the subform.  Upon
the first character I type Access sends me a message box ...
