I have a database, and each month have to import from an excel sheet (set up specifically for the import) into a table in Access. Have had no problems until this month and now I get "Active X cannot create object" and then the import cancels out.

I need to export an Access 2007 table to cvs format but it doesn't seem to be available in the export menu. Any way around this? The import of the other program only supports cvs or vcard. Thanks,

I have Access 2000 and Access 2003 and neither of them will work. I have different databases that I export from or import into, all of which had been working the last time I worked in them. Now none of them work. I get the error "Active X component can't create object"

I've got a large number of text files (one per week). They are huge and I only want to import records where a field is equal to a set value. If I imported all the data from a couple of weeks it would break Access.

I am importing data from .xls to .mdb One of my columns in .xls is a date field where the contents of the data respect the format yyyymmdd but it specified as "number" format in .xls. So for example today's date would be noted as the number 20071029. Note also
