I am wanting to create a access database for a call logging system, the user will fill out the form designed in access but then I want to be able to link/import excel/word documents into the database. Is this possible? if so how?

I have been trying to import four sheets from a workbook and it was not working until i placed all columns in the sheets exactly in the same order as the main table. It was imported into a new table and i did a copy paste in which the results filled up the other two tables ...

I tried converting a previous Access file to 2007. It did import the data but all my forms (and switchboards) are GONE ! Is there some better method to use? I can't believe MS would make a new Office program that will not convert
