In Access say you want create a brand new database and say you want to import an excel file. When you go File->Get External Data ->Import do you have Excel as an option in "Files of Type"?

I'm using TransferSpreadsheet to run several queries to a single spreasheet so that each query has it's own tab in the spreadsheet. Sometimes, some of the queries are empty. Is it possible to specify that if the query is empty, do not export?

I made an Export Specification called "PO Export" to export my query with no quotes (as the other program requires it for import). I am under the understanding that I can now call this export specification using Docmd.TransferText but so far I cannot get it to work.
