I have a database with thousands of contacts. I need to be able to create a Word document based an exiting Word template from data found on the Access form on the screen. The Access screen contains information about only one contact...FirstName, LastName, CompanyName, etc.

there is an excel file with a lot of named sheets on a server on our local net. In my access dbm I linked the first Since I have to create links to all the sheets and since creating a lot of links is not a pleasant job I tried first to copy link (i.e. linked table)

Ok, my mom and dad have a version of word 2k3 on thier computer and have unfourtiunatly lost the disks. When they try to mail merge something from Excel over to Word for mailing labels it says in the bottom left "starting excel....(pause 5 mins)...Starting DDE
