OK, Same database, same spreadsheet, running on two different XP pro machines, accessed from a network drive. I have a macro that includes a transferspreadsheet command. The spreadsheet is in excel 2000 format.

Hi there, I need to create a linked db to edit some backend data held on a sql server. I can import data via 'Get external data' but am unable to actually do a link. I get two main errors:

I'm working on sprucing up this database, and everything has been going well until I accedentally deleted the wrong field. I didn't think it would be a big deal- I could just use an append query from my backup. But things have not proven to be so simple...

Is this possible, have a list of records where their full name is in one field, covert all those records so their name is split up into two fields, first & last name? Thanks

I recorded an assignment in Excel and I should have done it in Access. Does anyone out there know how to transfer the whole thing to Access. I have till the end of the day to accomplish this or my grade will bejepordized tremendously.

Can recieve messages form yahoo, and send. But can't import my yahoo address book. created the csv vile per yahoo, and it is on my desktop. but when I try ot import get: Translation Error. a file error has occurred in the csv

I'm wanting to export a table to an excel spreadsheet, but putting the data in a location of my choosing. TransferSpreadSheet help says you can not use the range on an Export. However, I did a search here and someone said that it would work.

I want to import a DBF file (which is created by Foxpro 2.6 for Dos that have a MEMO field), via FoxPro ODBC, using VBA. For example: Import C:\dbf1.DBF to Table1 in DB1.mdb by clicking Button1 on Form1. I hope this is clear (since English isn't my First language).

I have a table the consists of two fields that together make 300 bytes. When I export this delimited file to text there appear to be 300 characters. However when this text file is imported to a well established package, it is validated for having records that are 300 bytes long. ...

Is it possible to import a DBF file while it is opening (in use) by another program (such as Foxpro 2.6) but have no access - I mean the records have no change. Because the DBF files are in use almost the time, and I want to update everytime I click a button.
