Memo Field truncated when exporting as .txt - Text file12 Apr 2006 06:49 GMT1
When I export my query as a Text file, the memo field get truncated.
Any suggestions as to how to prevent this?

I am trying to import some rather large CSV files into Access 97 (about
40-50mb).  I open the Import Wizard, select the file, click ok, and
then the program just sits.  The Windows Task Manager claims that
Access is busy, but I have let it sit for about an hour and still

the only file types it shows are xml, odbc, access, and sharepoint.  On my

When I import data that includes a hyphen (example MKT-CONSUMER) I now get a
longer symbol (MKT—CONSUMER).  Because of this, none of my queries will work
unless I paste in the criteris so I get the longer — instead of -.
See the difference?  I've noticed in in Excel 2003 also.

When I copy from an Excel worksheet and Paste Append to an Access table
errors occur. The problem is, not all of the rejected records are found
in the Paste Errors table. Can anyone tell me where they went?
