A user wants to export an address book into any one of the choices that the
export wizard offers.  I have a query that runs that selects the fields for
export.  It has to be seamless from a forms window.  I've tried the OutputTo

I've set up a database that is dependent on an import from Excel. I've tested
the import and everything works fine. For some reason though I get a table
added with the folowing name after the import is complete:
COVERMEM$_ImportErrors

When I import a large text file with about 250,000 records, Access will drop
the first couple characters in about 100 of the records.  I've been able to
verify that the missing characters are in the text file, but not in the

I'm experiencing problems when I try to import a date field.  It's formatted:
yyyy, mm, dd (eg. "2005, 10, 07").  Is there a way to import this as a date
rather than text.  And if I can't import as a date, how can I convert it to a
date once I import as text?

I have written a VBA procedures which imports and processes data.
I would like to run it daily at the fixed time, eg. 10:00 am. every day.    
I would like to run it without user iintervention.  Is is possible to do so?

and I need to combine about 4 fields into one field. But, they need to be

I am not sure this the section to post my question.
I have a database that is used for 3 different groups.  The database is
exactly the same for all 3 -- same tables, forms, queries, reports.  The
problem is when I make improvements, I have to do it to all 3 databases.  
MsAccess has a Create Table bug (won't allow VALUE as column name06 Oct 2005 23:22 GMT1
although you can use this column name in the "design" table program.
