Access keeps not responding and freezing when trying to create .MDE file. I am using Access 2003, I compacted file, I follow all steps. Any ideas? I am not getting any error messages. It just freezes and stops responding.

I inherited an Access 2000 application that I split in a front end and backend to use Oracle as a DB. To clean up years of accumulated code, and because the app was crashing suddenly when connecting to the b/e, I created a new Access DB and exported ALL objects (a lot of them) ...

I am using the Upsizing Wizard in Access 2003 to go to SQL 2005. All tables except one transfer successfully. The table that will not transfer is giving me the following error: Server Error 195: 'TimeSerial' is not a recognized built-in function name.

When I change the font in Access 2007 Options - Datasheet, the font doesn't get changed in existing split form's datasheet forcing me to create a new form. Is this by design?
