I'm using Ac 2003, Win xp pro, Excel 2003.  My sheet is formatted as text.  
Example: data is 3249388005 in Excel but imports as 3.24939e+009 in Access.

I've been set the task of converting a 20 user Access 2003 database to
SQL server 2000.
The original access version is two databases, a front end and a back
end. The front end uses about 40 forms. Without using the upsizing

Upon conversion to Access 2003, some DAO modules have both recordset close
and set "recordset name" = nothing statements.  Since Access 2003,
automatically closes these recordsets upon exiting the program, are these
