Are there any possible problems using Access 2000 to update an Access 2003
application?
I have been asked to make some simple changes to an Access 2003 application
but I don't have 2003 on my machines.

I have a flat text file, 120 columns, no header row, not delimited;
approximately  
Every record (row) is formatted the same up until column 92, so I have no
problem creating the import spec. up until that point (16 fields)

I have a .cdb (Pocket Access) database on my desktop.  I have a HandHeld
(running Pocket PC 2002).  From the handheld, I connect to my desktop via
wireless.  From the handheld, I can open, edit and design the database to
suit my needs.  No problem there.

Is there a way to convert data from a Paradox database to an Access
database?

I am trying to convert the Access 97 to Access 2003 and the problem is that,
there might be many changes in the datatypes. i want to know the details of
them.
eg: An int can be converted to String but string cant be converted to Int.

I have converted an A95 db to A2003. I need for some users to be able to use
previous versions of Access with the db. Hence, I use the database splitter
to create a backend db. Then I deleted it as per instructions on MS Help and
then opened the A2003 db. Next I am to use the ...

I can do this manually but it's more than a couple clicks.
I'd like to automate this from the MDB that I can call from my C#
process call or an OLE call.

I have a Memo field in a form that goes into overide mode when focus is
given.
I have corrected this with the Event - On Enter =  NOTES.SelStart = 0
this puts the memo field in a Insert mode - which is what I want.
