I have to migrate access 2000 database to DB2 (all tables and queries). Program is made in VB 6. Is it complicated, and can someone give me some advises or articles? Thanks in advance

I'm using Access 2002, and looking to save an mdb as 97. When I saved as, it said i needed to set references while IN access 97. Is that correct? I can't 'save as' unless I have access 97? Any workarounds to this?

I have an Access application which was split as FE and BE (BE with only tables). I recently upsized to a SQL server and all FE is working with the SQL tables. Is there any reason not to delete the Local tables that the Upsizing Wizard

Another thing you could do is open it with excel...that tends to open just about any type of dbf file....

Converting Access 97 to 2000, found one application that uses an Access 97 database from a VB6 front-end. I'm not really a VB6 programmer but I opened the project and looked at the code. I think this was the first VB6 program someone wrote!

I am using Access 2002, and a 2000 Compatible DB. I am importing data that is originaly an unsigned integer (.NET) (this means long in Access) Thing i would like to do is let access accept unisgned integers, but i don't know how. Is it even possible?

I think this may be beyond Access's DDE capabilities but thought I'd float this out to see if anyone had an ideas/thoughts or leads/links: I export an (open) Access query to Excel using DoCmd.RunCommand (acCmdOutputToExcel)
