A customer has following issue: An Access 2003 database with linked tables that si converted to Access 97 does not preserve the linked tables, they are replaced by fixed tables. Has anyone ever seenthis before of does anyone have an explanation?

Is there a problem with developing my application using Access 2003 (with Access 2000 file format set) and then moving it to my Access 2000 development machine, compiling it and then saving it as an mde file and then deploying it to my customers?

is there any way to convert a memo field to a text string without loosing the data? i have to convert a database that has memo fields with lots of text data. But, if i view it i can only see the first line of text and then i get a bunch of NULL characters. Any ideas on how to ...

Albert; Please be so kind to offer Your assistance once more. Your Word Merge code worked perfectly. I created a template in Word inserting the fields in a table to print to labels, (7 Col., 4 Rows).
