In Access 2000 I was able to import from Foxpro, under
the option of File Type being ODBC and then the tab for
Machine Data sources.  This option set is not present in

We are trying to import data from an excel spreadsheet
into Access.  We are having difficulty with a date field
from the Excel spreadsheet terminating the import with a
generic error message.  I have tried several datatypes at

Converted an Access 97 database to Access 2000 about a
month ago.  It is used by about 30 people 24/7.  There
have been 2 instances since then, where 'there was an
error executing the command' comes up trying to update

I had to reformat the hard drive on my laptop and reinstall everything. When
I open my main database, I get the following error:
The database is in an unexpected state. MSAccess can't open it. The database
has been converted from a prior version of Access by using DAO compact
