Good morning all - I am converting several databases from
Access 97 to Access 2000.   The smaller databases are
working fine. However, I have a number of large databases
that I have converted - queries on large tables in these

I have been trying to read the works 4.0 files I have
loaded from my old computer into my new computer with Ms
Office. The files have transfered OK but come out as
gobbledygook when I try to read them in MS office and the

I want to import my database table into the
sample "Contacts" table.
When I open Contacts db and open the Contacts table and
then use Get External Data it creates a new table for my

I have two files, 62 MB and 82 MB, that when I try to
convert from 2000 to 97 I get an error message "record is
too large."  Even after compressing to become 17 MB and 36
MB, I get the same message.  These databases are made up

I installed SP 8 per the directions at ACC2K3 startup.  Rebooted the
machine.  Opened my MDB, and was presented with the same prompt.
Any ideas?

I am trying to convert an access database created in 1997 version to the 2002 version but get an error message each time I try.  Does anyone know any easy way to solve this?

Export Error Table created After Exportin A Table From Access To Excel?07 Nov 2003 03:11 GMT1
I received a Database with a number of tables that each contain 24272
rows of data. When I export any of the tables to Excel a table is
created in Access with the name of the Exported file and the word Error
which contains 2 fields -- One field states: "Rows dropped due to
