I have a user access 2k database with few form(access interface to execute
access macroes.
I need to down grade the forms to access 97. so I can use access 97 instead

Our office has Access '97.  Our IT Department is upgrading
our Access to 2003, however, they state that 2003 is NOT
compatible with '97 and will NOT convert from '97.  Per
our IT Dept., we have been advised to purchase an Access

When I try to Convert my Access97 files that are on 3 1/2"
floppy diskettes, I get Error 3799.  "Could not find
field 'Description'".  Why does this happen?  How can I
get these files converted?

Can i create a database in access 2000 and then convert
what i have back to access 97 to run the database as a 97
program.
however if needs be can i create a databse in accesss 97

The command for converting databases under tools-> Data Base Utilities is
not active.  Any idea what I need to install to get this active?

standard is still '00.  I know there are some features
that are only available on '02, such as new kinds of
graphs, that would be wothless to implement because

I have turned an MDB into an MDE and now I would like to make a change. How
can I open the MDE to make changes to it?

I am trying to open a .wdb filw with microsoft access
2000, whe i try to open it it tells me that it is the
wrong format for access.  Is there a way to open this file
without first opening it in works? I can't seem to figure

I have an Access97 database with a field that has a linked OLE object
(Word document). I was using a query with the criteria expression
"Like[Use this format *keyword*]" on that field and it was working
fine.

Is there a way to "saveas" or export Access (XP) .mdb to
MS Works .wdb?

I am trying to convert a zero length string to an
integer.  When I use cint(string) I receive a type
mismatch error.  How can this be done?  I am needing to
sum values in text boxes and some of them have no value.
