MS Access Forum / General 1 / May 2008Saved Import Access 2007
I have saved an import and it works great. I would like to be able to start the saved import from a button on a switchboard. I tried using TransferText and the saved import name but it does not recognize the saved name as an import specification. Thanks for any help In some earlier versions of Access, if you save too early in a manual import process, the Import-Export Spect may not reflect all (or any) of the changes you made. Try importing, creating the specification, and saving at the very end of the import process. As I am not in a position to test in Access 2007, it would be helpful if you would post your results back to this message thread. Found System tables Office button, Access Options, Current Database, Navigation Options, Show System Objects Import Name saved was different than what was showing in the Saved Import tab in External Data.
