=DLookUp("[CompanyName]","Model Data","[CompanySymbol]='" & [Ticker].[Value]
& "'")

This formula works...it pull the company name, matching the Ticker put into
the Ticker field.  So putting in IBM will pull its name from the Model Data
table and show it in the TickerName field of my form..form name DataEntry.

So I thought it would be easy to get this to activate only after data was
entered into the Ticker field so I simply put the same formula into the
"afterupdate" control on the form...Doesn't work...can anyone give me a
suggestion on this?
