Can anyone help me please, this is causing me a real headache.

A Database here (Access 2003) uses code to open a mailmerged document
in Word 2003 which is linked to a query.

Problem is, it opens the document but doesnt actually do the
mailmerge. If i open the document separately, it is fine.

If anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.

Regards

Just to add.... i am happy with having to click "View Merged Data"
once the document has opened, but the mailmerge toolbar is greyed out
(Unavailable)

Save yourself the trouble... Albert Kallal wrote a great utility that
does this for you.
