Is there a way to code the following?

I have frmIntake which is linked to tblIntake.  I want a search button
on the form to search the table for Last Name which is entered for the
search.  I want all instances of this name to be displayed where the
appropriate one can be choosen to populate frmIntake.

I am new to VB and I can't figure out how to code this.

Thanks

I hope you mean you are new to "Access and VBA" not the separate VB product.
If the latter, you need to find a newsgroup for that product.

If the former: The simplest way to do what you want won't require you to
write any VBA... make sure the "magic wand" on the Toolbox is selected, then
click the little cryptic symbol for Combo Box (there's a tool tip, in case
it's difficult to determine). Then, put the cursor in the Header of your
Form, and follow the prompts from the Wizard...

The Wizard will generate code for you, unless you are using Access 2007, in
which case it will generate <UGH!> macros.

<Shudder>  Is that true about macros?  That would surely qualify to be
added to Allen Browne's list.
