Using Access 2002.  I have a form with several subforms.  Subform2
allows the user to insert a record into a table.  One of the fields in
this table is an account number, which is displayed in Subform1.  I
don't want the user to have to enter the account number in Subform2,
rather, it should pull from Subform1.

How can I accomplish this?

Thanks,

David

You could set it to default to the value in subform2.  There's an
article by Keri Hardwick on AccessWeb that shows how to reference the
values in subform controls etc in the forms section.
