Can I change a text box to a combo box programmatically? Just wondering
if this is possible.

I'm not sure if you could change it from a text box to a combo box. I
don't think you can.

However, you could simply overlay a combo box on top of the text box,
then just make whichever of the two you wanted visible appear with code
easily.
