Hi
I have a chart in form the 'X' axis is in time values
ie 06:00 - 07:00, 07:00 - 08:00, 08:00 - 09:00 .....etc
over a 24 hour period
Access is returning this on the chart starting at 00:00 - 00:01
i would like the chart axis to start at 06:00 - 07:00 and and at 05:00
- 06:00
can anyone give me any suggestions on how to force access plot in this
way
thanks
kevin

Not sure exactly where, but double-click on the chart in design mode and
check out the MS Graph properties. I'm sure you can set the axis range.
If you still have difficulty I'll try and take a look for you at a later
time.

i know with a cross tab query you can force the axis layout in a chart
the result is in the row source but i cant figure out how to do this
with a simple query
thanks again

You don't. You need to change the graph properties as I mentioned before,
otherwise it uses defaults. (double-click the graph object to open MS Graph.
Then look in the options for the axis...

Kev,
Double click on the value axis and look at the 'Format Axis' dialog that
appears. There will be a tab called 'Scale'. Turn off the auto check
box and mess with the values for either 'minimum' or 'Category (X) axis
crosses at'
