Hi,  I have a user who somehow managed to turn off the min max close
icons in her menu bar (across Access as a whole, not just the
application that I built).  She has it in her other MS products, so it
must be an Access setting.

Can anybody tell me how to get them back.  I have seen a lot of
postings that use application code to manipulate the buttons, but it
didnt' get turned off with code, so I don't see how I can fix it with
code.

I'm sure it was some magic combination of keystrokes or something, and
she has no idea what she did.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Birgit

If you're talking about the application window then the possibilities are:-
   1) Window sized / moved to a position where you can't see them.
   2) Some code is turning them off (maybe a virus)
   3) Her Access installation is corrupt.(this is the most likely)

1) On her machine hit the Alt-Spacebar combination this should show the
application menu from there you can manipulate the window using the cursor
keys and the enter key.

2) Check there is no code running, run a virus check.

3) Reinstall/repair office.
