Does anyone know if stacked column charts are possible in Access and if so, where I can get some information on them? They don't appear as one of the choices in the standard Access graphing tool, but I'm hoping there is a workaround. They don't appear as a choice in the chart creation wizard. You can change to stacked bar after the chart is created though. Never assume that the wizards represent everything you can do. Most of them only represent a small subset of what you can do manually.  SignatureI don't check the Email account attached to this message. Send instead to... You double-click on the chart and the chart designer interface opens up. From there you can modify the chart much the same as would in Excel. On a report you can only do this in design view of the report. In a form you can do it when in design view, but can also do so from normal view if the chart's enabled property is set to yes. The latter is preferred because you will always see the chart designer with your own data. When you open the chart designer from design view you will often just see sample data. I'd never even tried that because I incorrectly assumed that if stacked column wasn't in the chart wizard, then it couldn't be done. I'd also trawled the newsgroup a couple of times before and posted a similar question, but got no response - in hindsite maybe because the answer was so obvious. I'll now go and eat humble pie for the rest of the day! Regards. |
