Hello,
I'm using A97 (french version) on XP (english version).
Since this afternoon, all the Access built-in french-equivalent
function are generating a "Sub or Function not defined" error. An
exemple: IIf(1=1,"bob","joe") is ok but it's french equivalent
VraiFaux(1=1,"bob","joe") generates the error.
It's not linked to the PC since other applications with this function
are working fine. I have no idea what I could have done to change this.
I did change this application today as I do almost everyday. But I
cannot figure out what could produce this behavior.
Any insight would be appreciate.
Thanks
Yannick

Have you opened up a code window and checked Tools|References?
Things like this can happen if/when the reference to something is lost - as in
the target getting deleted or renamed.

Yes, I did that yesterday and there was no missing reference. This
morning, I re-open the application and everything was working fine.
Don't know why. Yesterday I did try the super-solution (restart the
computer!) and the application generated the same error. It's a
mystery.
So if someone with the same problem read this, go home and take a good
rest night! :o)
Thanks for your time.
